We’re not sure if you’re aware, but a live camera feed exists that allows you to watch the comings and goings of two very special mated bald eagles currently living at the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington, DC. “Mr. President” and “First Lady” as they’ve been crowned, chose a Tulip Poplar tree for their home, where First Lady has laid two eggs during the month of February.

We’re not talking a wad of twigs and old newspaper like something you find in the rain gutter come spring. This is the MTV Cribs of nest building, and we’re in awe of this winged couple’s design prowess. Expert twig and branch placement, good height selection. Top notch, eagles, top notch. We hope to be invited over for tea upon the arrival of your two new eaglets. (They’re actually called eaglets). See the eagle live cam feed here!
