Here’s a holiday hot take: Wicker can be cozy. The material most often associated with summers spent in tropical getaways or chic farmhouses is getting a cold-weather makeover thanks to a sneak peek into Amber Lewis’s Thanksgiving tablescape

The design darling recently shared her Turkey Day styling tips, and while we love her sunlit, greenery-forward setup, what we’re really crushing on is her curvy wicker banquette. Reconstructing what’s typically thought of as a season-specific material into a year-round look is a great way to create a vibe all your own. It just takes some simple accessory swaps to get started. Devoid of classic red or green, Lewis’s natural accents (a textured linen table runner, floral centerpieces, taper candles, and plenty of cushy throw pillows, to name a few) still transform the breezy material into a winter-worthy moment fit for a Nancy Meyers set. We can practically smell the maple-glazed brussels sprouts from here.

Want to get the look? If you don’t have the time (or budget) for your own custom banquette, opt for Serena & Lily’s French-inspired bistro bench (the rattan frames are shaped by hand), linen cushions handwoven in Portugal for added comfort, a woven flatware caddy for a natural take on a centerpiece, and naturally dyed napkins.
