If you’ve ever wanted to live inside a Nancy Meyers movie, her daughter Annie Meyers-Shyer might be able to get you one step closer—and for Target prices.
Meyers-Shyer is the author and creator behind This Oak House, the Instagram account turned book documenting the renovation of her historic Los Angeles home. The finished space has that familiar Meyers-family magic: airy but layered, polished but never precious, and seemingly assembled over years of antiquing rather than one particularly productive Saturday. Now Meyers-Shyer is translating that lived-in look into a Target Threshold collection, launching today.
The assortment is small and specific: linen lumbar pillows in warm neutrals, a striped oatmeal knit throw, woven rattan vessels, thumbprint ceramic vases, glass hurricanes, and a rattan tray. There’s even a faux leafy arrangement for anyone who appreciates the look of a thriving houseplant without the responsibility.
Meyers-Shyer says the hurricanes are among her favorites items, inspired by similar ones she uses throughout her own home year-round, but we have our eyes on the linen cushions. She designed them after unsuccessfully searching for just the right version for her own house. That specificity is why the collection feels less like a coordinated decor drop and more like a handful of things you might have accumulated slowly. “A home should feel lived in, not staged,” Meyers-Shyer says. Her advice: Actually use the good stuff. Light the candles, put flowers in the vase, and keep the throw somewhere you’ll reach for it.
