As far as epic home collaborations go, the Lenny Kravitz and CB2 partnership is high on the list. It’s been 10 years since the award-winning musician and design lover dropped his first line with the brand, and we still think about the clever corner bar and ’70s-esque throw pillows—that’s how good it was. His second collection was equally bold, with twists on African textiles and Parisian-inspired silhouettes. This time around, though, Kravitz seemed to be craving something quieter.

For his third drop, out today, he took inspiration from California modernism and its iconic architecture, like the famous Case Study Houses of the 1940s. It shows in his material choices: There’s rice paper, Danish cord, twill upholstery, Breccia marble, and a heavy dose of stainless steel, often in unexpected pairings. We can show you better than we can tell you, so here’s a look at some of our favorites from the 62-piece assortment.
The Nagara Flush Mount and Pendant
Soft rice paper shade, meet space-age stainless steel frame. We didn’t see this material mashup coming, but we love how the reflective metal will only add to the shade’s signature warm glow.
The Laulm Danish Cord Stool
Kravitz supersized the scale of the woven cord seats on these stainless-steel stools, his twist on the classic Danish design detail. Psst: there is also a bar-height version.
The Kanan Sofa
Kravitz proves he’s got an eye for upholstery once more with this groovy, square-tufted sofa covered in a custom Italian twill. Think of it as bouclé’s cooler cousin.
The Rake Accent Chair and Ottoman
This low-slung chair is directly inspired by the furniture found in Kravitz’s homes in Paris, Brazil, and the Bahamas. For maximum slouch-ability, we suggest scooping up the matching ottoman, too.
The Twist Wool Throw Pillow
Unexpected textural contrast in one step: Just add this twisted wool throw pillow.
The Kibo Media Console
It’s only fitting to stock this vibe-y oak and polished pewter cabinet with vinyl records. Cutouts behind the Brutalist-inspired doors allow you to discreetly hook up all your speaker equipment.
The Furrow Flatware Set
The Art Deco lines on this flatware set make each piece feel like a mini architectural feat, but everything is dishwasher-safe.
The Rohe Side Table
Fossil-embedded marble and blackened steel give this side table a subtle rock ‘n’ roll edge.
