Just last month, celebrity designer Jake Arnold gave us a way to bring his style home through The Expert’s Showroom. Today he’s taking things one step further with a new Crate & Barrel collection of furniture, lighting, and accessories—and the prices start at just $20.
Arnold is no stranger to collaborations. (Real fans remember his Parachute and Lulu and Georgia collections.) But with more than 50 high-style pieces, this is his most expansive assortment yet, and the mix includes a slipcovered sofa that stole our hearts, plus pillows upon pillows to pile onto it. His elegant London–meets–Los Angles vibe is quite timeless, and the collection has something to offer every room in the house, even if you’re on a tight budget—although we’d still shop it if we had all the money in the world.
Nobody knows what furnishings people actually need better than designers, which is why Arnold drew from his own experience when thinking up this sophisticated three-seater. “I’m always on the hunt for cool sofas for clients, so I designed my dream one, complete with box pleats and a tailored slipcover,” he says. If you ask us, it strikes the perfect balance of traditional and streamlined. And because one size does not fit all, it’s offered in 78, 90, and 102 inches. To top it all off, the cotton-blend slipcover is removable and machine washable and fashioned around an FSC-certified wood frame.

As far as the rest of the collection goes, we’re thinking the wicker Harwich dome pendant light hung above a kitchen table; the blush-tone stone Leo tray on a bathroom vanity; and a mix of the Francis faux mohair pillows and Harrow throw pillows on the sofa in question, for starters.
