Inspired by mid-century American serveware (hello, Russel Wright), design studio Tortuga Forma and interdisciplinary practice Office of Tangible Space came together to produce Tortugaware. Four pieces—dinner, salad, and bread plates, and a serve platter—launch the collection, which will continue to expand in 2026. The sculpted edge is a signature gesture among the current quartet, which invites being handled and passed among friends and loved ones.

Swedish cool-girl rug brand Layered makes splashy, boldly-colored floor coverings that often look like works of art. The latest introductions include new selections from colorist Tekla Evelina Severin and artist Evelina Kroon. Severin’s styles are tufted and made from 100% wool, and the three core patterns are each available in two colorways. Kroon’s trademark grids and lines have been translated into four hand-knotted, 100% New Zealand wool rya rugs (a Scandinavian long-pile design dating back to 15th-century Norway).

Vipp Debuted a Entirely Stainless Steel Kitchen

Stainless steel has been a rising cookspace material over the past year thanks to its durability, timelessness, and easy maintenance. In November, Danish design brand Vipp announced the latest iteration of its modular kitchen, constructed entirely from the metal. Taking cues from restaurants, the brushed finish (which will patina beautifully over time) and angular silhouette is softened by rounded corners, a worktop folded from a single sheet of steel, and slender furniture-inspired legs. We saw it during Copenhagen’s annual design festival, and it’s even better in person.

The Brownstone Boys have done it again, but this time in the form of peel-and-stick wallpaper. In the duo’s first wallpaper collection, they’ve introduced designs celebrating the Big Apple like cheeky Toile de New York, light-hearted Brooklyn Delft, damask-inspired Brownstone Blooms, and earthy Townhouse Stripe. Priced affordably at $60 per roll, the new line is a low-commitment option to makeover a powder room, that one non-tiled wall in the kitchen, or your rental entryway.

We love to open Block Shop’s weekly newsletter Notes from the Studio—the team tells us what cool music they’re listening to, funny memes, and more nice dispatches for the end of the week. When we peeped that they were working on a collab with LACMA, we couldn’t wait to see what would come of it. Together, they brought to life a collection of four wallpapers, a robe, and bandanas inspired by William Morris’s “Textile Rose” pattern. Instead of English roses, Block Shop illustrated their wall coverings with California and Matilija poppies that grow in Los Angeles. To note: the wallpapers are made-to-order and have a five week production time.

Los Angeles–based home decor retailer Olive Ateliers has been on a tear since it launched its online store in 2023. Earlier this year, the celeb-favorite shop unveiled a gorgeous outdoor furniture line, and we awarded its Evermore Sling-Back Chair a Good Design Award back in September. Now, filling its proverbial shelves is a collection of 140+ products titled Hygge Holiday. We love the thoughtful gift bundles, one-of-a-kind furniture and objects, and merry-making decor that creates a cozy atmosphere—all with the signature warmth and vintage appeal Olive Ateliers is known for.

French-American designer Sophie Lou Jacobsen is known for her delicate glass tableware, lighting, and vases. Her latest release is the Continental Collection, which comprises nine glass and silver-plated breakfast objects that take cues from a variety of sources, ranging from cinema and hotel breakfasts to 20th-century Italian glassware and Egyptian ewers. Jacobsen was initially inspired to develop these pieces thanks to a charming apple-esque jar from her childhood, but we’re transfixed by the curves of the Porter toast rack as well as the elegant shape of the Bell Pot.

Made with dairy-free oat milk, the on-trend spirit has a creamy texture, earthy undertones, and a smooth finish—and we’re calling it: the matcha martini will overtake its espresso counterpart ASAP.
