Amazon Prime Day is plural this year: the annual summer sale event is happening from July 8 to 11. As always, there’s too many deals to comb through, so we checked in with the entire Domino team about what they’re watching for during the 96-hour event. (We heard that there will be themed deal drops every day, too, featuring brands like Samsung—hello, Frame TV.) A few tips to give you a running start on the discounts: If you own an Alexa, you can add products to your Wish List, Cart, or Save for Later to get a notification about a deal. You can also ask Amazon’s AI shopping assistant Rufus specific questions about Prime Day timing, and receive recommendations.
And last but not least, if you’re steering clear of Amazon, browse our Prime Day alternative sale picks worth shopping over the same dates.

Windmill Air Purifier
I live in an old house with two cats and a dog, so air purifiers are a must for keeping dust and dander at bay (the HEPA filter in the Windmill captures 99.97% of airborne particles). I already have one and want two more so there’s one unit on each floor. I love that the app allows you to monitor air quality, set schedules, and receive notifications when filters need to be replaced. Plus the design far exceeds other air purifiers on the market. The fluted exterior and sleek look are aesthetically pleasing, and it’s whisper-quiet so I can run it when I’m on calls, watching TV, or sleeping with no issues. —Brit Ashcraft, design director
Coop Home Goods Original Crescent Adjustable Pillow
As a side sleeper who is trying to rotate to sleep more on my back, I’ve had my eye on this crescent-shaped pillow, which contours to the curve of your shoulders and neck to help with spinal alignment. You can even add or remove memory foam fill to adjust to your perfect level of personal comfort, and both the inner pillow and its cover are machine washable. —Andie Diemer, photo director
Polaroid I-2 Instant Film Camera
I might be giving away my gifting strategy here, but I am desperately seeking discounts on this Polaroid camera for my husband’s birthday. The iconic brand has slowly stopped distributing color film that works for our vintage SX 70, so I’ve been looking for something different to fill the gap. I know he likes that this one has manual controls, and the I-Type film seems to be readily available. —Samantha Weiss Hills, managing editor
Business & Pleasure Co. Beach Umbrella
Our family beach trips have grown so large now that there is no longer enough room under my parents’ umbrella for me to hide from the sun, so it’s time that I graduate to a canopy of my own. I love that this striped one is tiltable so I don’t have to constantly pick up and move my chair with the shade. —Lydia Geisel, home editor
Yamaha A-S501 Integrated Stereo Amplifier
It’s common knowledge that Prime Day is a good time for tech discounts, so I have my fingers crossed that this sleek amplifier goes on sale. My husband and I have been looking to replace our vintage one that, while good-looking, doesn’t come with a remote and has lower fidelity. It helps that the A-S501 is equally handsome.—Samantha Weiss Hills, managing editor
Loloi x Chris Loves Julia Pillow
I’m leaning into the brown color trend in our guest bedroom with a dark wood bookcase and chocolate-hued bouclé curtains, so now I just need the perfect accent pillows for the bed. Looking really closely at these velvet pillows that Julia and Chris Marcum designed for their Loloi collaboration, the fabric almost looks like an expensive swatch of mohair. —Geisel
Veer Cruiser City
I learned the hard way last weekend that not all beach wagons are created equal. Our in-laws’ cart worked like a dream—until we hit the sand and the wheels locked up pretty much instantly. I’ve heard lots of good things about Veer and the Cruiser City model has a “wagon mode” where the handle adjusts for easier hauling. Psst: There’s a beach tire kit available to really maximize its mobility. —Lindsey Mather, digital director
Our Place Wonder Oven
Space is always tight in my galley kitchen, and this chic 6‑in‑1 countertop appliance nails form and function, seamlessly marrying air‑fryer, toaster‑oven, broiler, and even steam‑infusion capabilities. It preheats in less than four minutes, and the 32-quart family size can fit a 12-inch pizza or prep multiple dishes at once. Not only is it a compact jack of all trades, but it’s also cute enough to leave out. —Diemer
Sunflow Shore Thing Premium Beach Chair
Yes, it’s a splurge—but this is the beach chair. I spend many summer afternoons at our town’s swimming pond with my two young kids, which means I need a comfortable perch for long stretches of sandcastle supervision and snack requests. The built-in sunshade is a game changer, and the four reclining positions mean I can sit upright while they splash in the shallow end—and lean back a bit once they’re fully occupied. If Prime Day brings a discount, I’ll take it as a sign from the summer gods and finally make it mine.—Kristen Flanagan, contributing editor
Loloi Easton Collection Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug
My old outdoor rug has survived several summers—spilled drinks, melted popsicles, and one too many rainstorms that flooded my patio with mud. What started as a robin’s egg blue rug, is now a dingy, gray mess. It’s officially time for an upgrade. This striped rug is bold without being loud, and would instantly make my stone paver patio feel like a true outdoor dining room—minus the walls and ceiling. What really sells me is that it’s reversible (two styles in one!), plus it’s made from recycled materials, a.k.a. the definition of a feel-good find.—Flanagan
Baggu Go Pouch Set
It’s my tote collection’s busiest time of year. I carry a lot with me in the summer: a water bottle in case it’s too hot; a sweater in case the AC is blasting; an umbrella for the chance sun shower. And those are the big items—sunblock, electrolyte packets, and hair ties galore are all there, too. Pouches are how I keep the bottom of my bag from becoming a messy jumble of things, and this color-blocked set from Baggu has been sitting on my wish list for some time. Do I need more little bags for my big bag? Maybe not, but if they go on sale how could a girl resist? —Lindsey DeSimone, senior marketing manager
