We’re talking about Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, of course, and the sheer number of deals frankly makes it an overwhelming opportunity. Taking place October 7 and 8, Prime members get access to the best discounts. Psst: This year, you can get a little help buying for that hard-to-shop-for friend using Rufus, Amazon’s AI shopping assistant, while Amazon Lens Live lets you snap a pic of a product out in the real world (say, a cool pendant light) and will suggest close matches.
Nearly every category is on sale, but one of our favorite places to look around is the appliance section. It’s hard to find a better time to upgrade some of your tried-and-true tools, from vacuums and coffee machines to TVs. Dig into some deals on our radar ahead.
Beast
We’re big fans of Beast blenders, and their powerful Mega 1200 model is on sale in this edition of Amazon Prime Day. Use it like a commercial blender for creamy dressings and sauces, and take your smoothies on the go with the included lid and straw.
Breville
Your favorite barista will probably miss you a lot, but having a coffee shop-level espresso machine steps from your bedroom is actually kind of life-changing. Amazon Prime Day is a great time to grab one of Breville’s machines, which will be 20% off. (We’re eyeing the Touch Impress machine.)
Coway
Coway has marked down a selection of their highly-rated air purifiers for Prime Big Deal Days. The bedroom-appropriate option comes in at under $100, while the larger Airmega is nearly $80 off.
Dyson
Do your apartment a solid and invest in that Dyson you’ve been eyeing for years. For Prime Day, you can get the V11 and V8 vacuums for a 25% discount. We love the former product for how well it tackles pet hair.
KitchenAid
Stand mixers have reached a sort of icon status, especially if they’re from KitchenAid. The color options can’t be beat, which somehow makes the burn of a failed baking experiment a bit easier to swallow. For Prime Day, the brand is offering 25% off its stand mixers, so now’s your chance. We’re partial to the Classic Series in white, the ultimate minimalist flex.
Ninja
Ice cream makers, blenders, air fryers, coffeemakers—Ninja offers a little bit of everything. This year, the brand is serving up 30% off countertop appliances (i.e. everything we mentioned and more). The potential of at-home margaritas has us leaning toward the SLUSHi Professional Frozen Drink Maker.
Shark
If a Dyson purchase is still some time further down the line, pivot to Shark’s vacuums, which are up to 60% off for Prime Day. This might be the moment to find out what the robot vacuum fuss is all about but you can’t go wrong with the swivel steering on the upright Navigator.
Midea
Everyone knows fall is the best time to score a deal on air conditioners—your future self will thank you for being prepared when the first surprise swelter hits the forecast. Midea is our pick this season, partly because they are offering 27% off AC units for the two-day event. Check out the U-shaped Smart Inverter air conditioner, which has a special design that sits right on your window frame.
Samsung
Winter is coming, and so are the movie nights. Samsung’s Prime Day sale spans The Frame (up to $500 off), OLED TVs (up to $1,700 off), and Neo QLED 4K TVs (up to $1,500 off). The 2025 55” Frame will fill up some living space nicely.
