lake days are here

Lake days are here. Boats, sandwiches, sunburn, bare feet, early morning swims, paddle boards, tomato salad, wet puppies, colorful beach towels, bright flowers, how can you not smile? We had our first real lake days this past weekend. The sun was shining and I have the sunburn to prove it. All this lake loving has my mind on freshening up our home there. You know just a few key things to welcome in Summer 2015, necessary, right?! Nothing welcomes in a new season better than a little freshening up! Little changes can go a big way here: throwing in some new pillows, switching out a couple chairs, new kitchen glasses, and throwing down a new rug. These little additions can have a big impact.
