Not all designers have a signature stamp, but when Leanne Ford creates something—a sofa, a barstool, a light fixture—there’s no question: It’s hers. Take the Pittsburgh native’s first furniture and home decor collection for Crate & Barrel, available to shop now. “It’s Mediterranean, wabi-sabi, mid-century, traditional, Scandi, and a little bit of disco, all living so well together thanks to a simple color story,” says Ford. A collaboration with Sebastian Brauer, the company’s vice president of design, the assortment of bedding, seating, bud vases, art, and more perfectly captures Ford’s penchant for sculptural silhouettes (there’s no shortage of arches) and timeless neutrals (think: lots of cane, blackened steel, and white oak).

“While these pieces are refined and polished, they’re not meant to be or feel too perfect,” adds the designer. You’d also never know that all the items came from a single store. The charcoal wood dining table could pass for vintage, while the matte glazed vessels look like they were sourced from a faraway locale—perhaps Greece or Morocco.

Going for effortless cool? Our four favorite pieces from the Crate & Barrel x Leanne Ford spring 2020 collection nail the laid-back look:
