We found this shipping pallet for FREE. This pallet is great to create a low table for entertaining since the top slats are so close together.

Picked up some rolling, locking casters at the local hardware store for the base of the pallet table.  These casters easily attach with a few wood screws.

Once you have all four casters attached.  Flip the table over and sand out any rough spots.

At this point you can customize you new patio table however you choose. Paint it, stain it or seal it with a polyurethane made for outdoors use.

We treated ours with a clear poly because we loved the character of the wood. The original number stamps on the wood were visible and that just added to the charm.
