Today, January 12, is a great day for Dig Inn fans—especially those who commute into New York City by way of Westchester. The farm-to-table chain is opening their first suburban location in Rye Ridge Plaza. In addition to new menu offerings unique to this restaurant, the interior also features design by ASH NYC, a Brooklyn based design company… because your favorite mindfully sourced meals deserve to be enjoyed in an equally impressive space.

The new location was created with the local community in mind, meaning it is the first to serve a children’s menu and a vegetable

charcuterie board

There is also a 10-person chef’s counter that will have vegetable-forward entrees available for order. As usual, a full day menu and drink list—consisting of Counter Culture coffee, MatchaBar matcha, herbal teas, juice, local beer, cider, and wine.

(Tour stunning model apartments staged by ASH NYC, located in Williamsburg’s historic Austin Nichols House.)

Did we mention the new restaurant is 3 200 square feet Which leaves plenty of room for standout design moments, cozy corners, and communal tables. The space’s peach and teal color palette, expertly paired with light wood floors and marble surfaces, creates an cool, modern ambiance that makes you want to stay in—not take your meal to go. And oh yeah, and there’s a skylight, too.

Bonus: Fifty percent of the opening day sales will be donated to American Farmland Trust, an organization that has worked for decades to help protect five million acres of farmland from development (including almost 200,000 acres in New York!).

Dig Inn currently has 13 locations in New York City and one in Boston’s Copley Square. Visit the new location at 112 S. Ridge Street in Rye Brook and look to diginn.com for more information.
