If you have yet to hear of Airbnb Plus, this may be a gamechanger. The service, which launched in late February, is geared towards providing travelers with a high-end lodging experience. Think of it as a curated experience for the design-minded.

With an emphasis on thoughtful design and a focus on luxury, each of the homes that fall under the Airbnb Plus umbrella are individually vetted by a member of the company. Comfort, reliable maintenance, and an impressive array of amenities are among the top of the list of features, which are taken into account. While the program is only available in 13 cities across the globe—Austin, Cape Town, Shanghai, Los Angeles, and Sydney, to name a few—it provides quite the incentive for making it out to a relatively far-flung destination.

And because we would be hard-pressed to turn down a trip, especially one that involves staying in a space that inspires with a stunning design scheme, we took the liberty of wading through the impressive array of offerings available on Airbnb Plus, to find the spots that fill us with a serious sense of wanderlust.

The Charming Craftsman with Outdoor Shower – Venice, California

This quaint Venice hideaway is described as a dreamy oasis, complete with vine-covered walls and an equally charming outdoor space. Proof that you can pack in plenty of style within a small space, this tiny home beautifully combines a rustic scene with a modern-beachy aesthetic.

A Bohemian Hillside Retreat – Los Angeles, California

Looking past the seriously swoon-worthy decor scheme of this home, the panoramic views and the lush wildlife that surrounds the home are enough of an incentive for us to book a stay.

A Transformed French Concession Xinli House – Shanghai, China

We have to admit, this one is a standout favorite and it’s easy to see why: With an interior inspired by Frida Khalo, it’s no surprise that the decor is as colorfully-charged as it is.
