She took us inside her stunning space and gave us a peek at a day in the life. See for yourself!
Inspired by California surf culture, east coast prep, and 1960’s Palm Beach, I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite things around the West Village —and the west coast — through the lens of an endless summer.
My outfit of choice is casual and comfortable:a pair of high-waisted jeans from my friend’s denim line, @industrystandardny, a classic sailor tee, & oversized, mirrored tortoise sunglasses. From cruising around Nantucket in the summertime to strolling the streets of my neighborhood, this is my preferred uniform.
My aesthetic is based in the idea that summer should last all year round. I recently traveled to Venice Beach, California and was in awe that there, this mentality is reality. I could have watched the surfers catch waves on the pier all day long.
I’m a big proponent of filling my apartment with fresh blooms. There’s no better way to bring a small space to life. Hyacinth, lilac, sweet pea, peonies, hyndrageas, ranunculus…I can never choose just one!
I have a penchant for mariner stripes and try to incorporate this nautical detail into both my decor and personal style. Tassels are an added bonus! Serve with a home-brewed cappuccino to start the day off right.
