If you’re a foodie, you are used to conducting weeks of research before going on vacation in order to suss out which restaurants you want to hit, which famed local dishes you can’t miss, and which pastry shop you’ll want to drop by every single day. Now Airbnb wants to do all that work for you. Its newly launched Airbnb Adventures—an expansion of Airbnb Experiences—takes the typical group tour to the next level, and the food-centric trips are at the top of our bucket list.

The tours are typically several days long and led by local experts, and they involve more activity beyond just oohing and ahhing at the local scenery. On food-focused Adventures, this means a bit of foraging, farming, or fishing might be necessary in order to end up with a meal in front of you. Obviously, for these vacations, location is everything.

Standard beach destinations are great and all, but when you go on a slow food safari in the Galápagos Islands, you’ll enjoy one of the world’s most biodiverse areas in addition to catching your own fish and exploring a sustainable farm. In a seaside trip in Sweden, you’ll eat oysters straight from the ocean and forage for seaweed while staying in a boutique waterfront hotel. And on a trek through Peru, you’ll harvest cacao, coffee, and tea, as well as hike to a waterfall just outside of Cusco.

Just when you thought farm-to-table restaurants were the best places to go for the freshest food, these experiences have arrived to get you even closer to the source—no reservations or fancy attire necessary.
