Brit Ashcraft

Design Director

Brit Ashcraft is an award-winning creative director and graphic designer. She joined Domino in 2019, where she oversees all things design. She has over twelve years of experience working in branding, design, and marketing specializing in interiors, lifestyle, and real estate.

Highlights

  • Interests include film and theater, vodka martinis, traveling, adoring her pets, and playing games that are generally enjoyed by the elderly.

Experience

As design director, Brit works across both editorial and Creative Studio teams to ideate and execute creative, fun, and beautiful visuals. She oversaw the launch of Domino’s digital issues as well as the Domino’s Kids vertical, both of which won multiple awards from the Society of Publication Designers and were nominated for Webby Awards. Prior to joining Domino, she led the brand design and photography teams at interior design startup Homepolish, overseeing visuals and art direction across marketing, product, and editorial. She also has five-plus years of agency experience, building brands for high-end real estate, lifestyle, and hospitality clients.

In her free time, Brit works as a creative director helping clients in the home and lifestyle industries build, elevate, and market their brands and content.

Brit has yet to be featured on television, however, she was once a guest on an interior design podcast discussing art direction, but the show somehow doesn’t exist on the internet anymore. Probably because she was too good of a guest and they had to end it there.

Education

Brit received her bachelor’s degree in English Composition, before quickly deciding design was the life for her and getting an additional associate’s degree in graphic design.

Design Philosophy

I like my homes like I like my seances: painted black and with tons of candles.
