High Design: Houseplant x Concrete Cat at Coming Soon

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Houseplant, Seth Rogen’s painfully chic weed-focused home accessories company. (Listen to the actor and I chatting about it here on Domino’s podcast, Design Time.) We both firmly believe that stoners deserve style, too, and nowhere is that more apparent than in the brand’s collaboration with Concrete Cat, a Montreal-based artist studio. My two favorite pieces—a rolling tray that could double as a soap dish and an ashtray that works as a vase—are also now available at my other home obsession, Coming Soon. —Julie Vadnal, deputy editor

Because nobody knows what people really need better than interior designers, it’s no shock that Float Studio came out with hardware that’s the perfect combo of delicate and industrial. Don’t snooze on the brackets, which are pretty much the opposite of what you’d find at a hardware store.

You Can Now Make Flour + Water Pasta at Home

Restaurant-grade retail pasta in attractive yolk yellow packaging? San Francisco mainstay Flour + Water just released it. Four types—spaghetti, penne rigate, elbow, and campanelle—are made with just (you guessed it) organic North American semolina and water and sold in four-packs. Even a fresh tagliatelle lover could get behind this stuff.
