Bed Threads Unveiled Percale Cotton Sheets
One of our favorite sources for linen sheets has dropped a collection of 100 percent organic cotton percale. Eight poppy shades are splashed across Bed Threads’ newest collection, which is durable, pilling-resistant, and soft on sensitive skin. The pricing is nice, with fitted sheets starting at just $80 and duvets at just $120; the Espresso color is calling our name ahead of fall.
Flamingo Estate Released Their Latest Seasonal Box
Kampai! Flamingo Estate looked to Japan for its latest seasonal box. Filled to the brim with products like spicy mustard powder, Okinawan sesame jam, onsen-inspired soap, and many other goodies from across the island nation. It arrives in a beautiful, giftable box (when you order in three-month or annual installments, the price decreases). If you want to try a few other more affordable cooking sets, the Summer Grilling Set and Summer Spicy Set are both options, too.
Shelfology Designed a More Colorful Utility Hook
A garage staple that will turn the concept of dull storage on its head. This sturdy, solid steel wall hook comes in 30 hues and can hold up to a whopping 275 pounds—it can be mounted to the side of an exposed beam, stud, or truss, and can be recessed behind drywall. Use it as a home for hoses, garden supplies, tools, or gym equipment. Bonus points: it’s made in the U.S.
Quince Debuted a Line of Affordable Lighting
Light fixtures can quickly increase the tab on your reno bill, so when budget-friendly brand Quince added a line of styles to its stable, we took notice. Of the flush mounts, chandeliers, sconces, and pendants, nothing is more than $550. We’re crushing on the $80 articulating steel sconce (a perfect bedside companion) and the iron and opal glass conical pendants, which we can imagine over a beach home’s kitchen island.
Chasing Paper and Susan Alexandra Collaborated on Wallpaper
The zany world of Susan Alexandra—Susan Korn’s line of beaded bags and accessories—has come for our walls. Together with Chasing Paper, Korn has devised a capsule of four wallpaper designs that are meant to evoke feelings of nostalgia for the ’90s and early 2000s. She takes inspiration from American Girl dolls, cake frosting, and the actual pattern that was in her childhood bedroom. We’re ready to put the Felicity Stripe in a powder room, and the Candy Stripe would make the most joyful kids room.
Bocci’s 22 System Added Color to Its Outlets
Our team’s Slack was smitten with Bocci’s new introductions to its 22 System, which is a suite of electrical devices that are interchangeable and integrate into any finish. The six new colors for both plug and USB outlets draw inspiration from a painting by artist Emily Carr—among the warm, grounded hues is carob, oxblood, and forest.
Ready to Hang Made a Jelly-Inspired Mirror
Jelly seems to be on everyone’s minds lately: shoe purveyors, fancy new food brands, even product designers. Ready to Hang tapped into the nostalgia for the jiggly dessert with its latest introduction. The Jelly Mirror is crafted from polished resin, another material we’ve seen artisans gravitate toward lately. Its translucence casts a colorful shadow on the wall in cherry and honey hues, and it reads playful and tasteful all in one.
Designer Lauren Sullivan Is Selling Her Best Antique Finds
For Lauren Sullivan, treasure-hunting abroad isn’t confined to summer trips to Europe. The designer grew up antiquing and later spent four years collecting unique pieces that would bring soul to her new-build Tennessee home. Needless to say, she knows a special, well-crafted find when she sees one, and 19 of them are now for sale in her new shop, Well Found. Sullivan’s first drop of French oil paintings, Italian pottery, and more is just the beginning—more inventory arrives this fall.
