One of the best feelings comes when you’re browsing page after page of furniture options on a big-box store’s site and—boom—something really good pops right out. This is exactly how we came across California-based designer Becki Owens’ collection for Abbyson Home in a rather unexpected place. The drop happened back in February, but it was only recently that we stumbled across some of the blonde-wood pieces at Costco, specifically four items that could be purchased together for a Scandi-inspired bedroom upgrade (hint, hint).
Unlike other classic furniture sets, this family feels super sleek and stylish. Better yet, the prices are even more discounted on Costco’s site than Abbyson Home’s page, making this a real deal. Take a look at each of the designs ahead, plus a few ideas for how to work them into your space.
Lucena Nightstand
Tech-enabled furniture usually doesn’t look this chic. We love the built-in USB port hiding on the back of this nightstand. You’ll never have to flounder around in the dark searching for your charger again.
Lucena Dresser
The all-over birch vibe of this dresser is sleek, and the subtle drawer pulls take minimalism to a new level. The rounded corners and curvy legs bring it into playful territory, so it would work just as well in a kid’s room as it would in the bedroom of a kid-at-heart.
Lucena Canopy Bed
There’s something about the differing heights of the canopy posts that make this design look more expensive than it really is. Our tip: Find a long bench to place at the foot so you don’t see all the legs poking out.
Lucena Bed
If your ceilings aren’t high enough for a canopy bed, you can simplify things with the basic Lucena frame. The soft gray upholstery will let you go wild with patterns and colors on the bed, so don’t shy away from a floral quilt or striped pink shams.
