It’s time to give furniture mega-retailer Ashley another visit. Its new launch, Ashley Luxe, catapults the store into the same realm as high-end brands Arhaus or RH. The prices are what you’d expect from Ashley, as in very reasonable (a standard-size couch rings in at $1,299). What we didn’t see coming was this level of style and quality. The five collections—Bracken, Calden, Modero, Neo, and Whitehaven—feature elevated materials like iron, marble, French oak and cast glass and thoughtful details like finished drawer interiors and sofa backs. Not to mention, the face of the line is a tastemaker in her own right: actress, singer, and producer Hailee Steinfeld (you can shop her favorites here).

Ahead, six pieces worth a closer look.
Ashley Luxe Whitehaven Velvet Sofa
Shades of brown continue to dominate in interiors, and this camel-hued sofa is the latest addition. Editor in chief Lindsey Mather can attest that the ultra-plush cushions—a combination of memory foam and a feather-fiber fill—are as comfortable as they look.
Ashley Luxe Curved Candle Chandelier
This ceiling fixture sits perfectly in between modern (the slim, wavy arms) and traditional (the classic chandelier silhouette and candlelight lightbulbs). To push it further toward the former camp, consider swapping in globe bulbs.
Ashley Luxe Top-Grain Leather Sculpted Arm Accent Chair
Sporting an unexpectedly oversized wood frame, this reimagined sling chair features leather that hails from one of the oldest family-owned tanneries in Italy.
Ashley Luxe Bracken Round Cocktail Table
Inset in this sleek, black-stained wood coffee table is a slab of real marble, so each top will be one of a kind.
Ashley Luxe Ceramic Vessel Table Lamp
The kind of timeworn ceramic lamp you’d hope to stumble upon at a flea market, but this one can be shipped to your house for free with a couple clicks.
Ashley Luxe Plush Upholstered Parawood Ottoman
Full credit goes to this ottoman’s fun proportions and chunky, cylindrical legs for making it seem worlds more expensive than it actually is.
