“My love for photography started back in 2009 when I had a portrait session of my own with my husband,” says wedding photographer Sarah Brown. “There’s something so magical about documenting the best day of someone’s life.” Eight years and one set of twins later, she’s turned her passion into a full time career. Here she shares the stories behind some of the her most favorite photographs.

“With the craziness of a wedding day I love snapping the quiet small moments whenever I can. I feel it really helps tell the story of my couples wedding day.”

“One of my all-time favorite images. The pure excitement on her face as she’s about to meet her groom in just a few minutes.”

“A classic black and white image will always have a special place in my heart. You can tell how he just adores her.”

“I’m pretty sure she is planning her future wedding.”

“This image really impacts me because it shows generations coming together. It shows love, kindness, and a grandmother helping her granddaughter put on her final touches before walking down the aisle.”

“No special editing here: Just film shot beautifully. Her look is so classic. She radiates in front of a camera with little to no effort.”

“Love starts with holding hands and ends with walking together forever. Hand in hand.”

“I am a sucker for some gorgeous light. And when it’s paired with a groom in his military uniform…”

“The details of a wedding day are just one part of the day that tells the full story.”
