Casseroles, turkey, cake—basically any food that takes up a whole sheet pan or baking dish requires two hands to carry. So when you don’t have someone to help you open or close the oven door, your only resort is dropping everything or awkwardly using your leg as a third arm. Fortunately, maneuvering around the kitchen is about to get a lot easier. At this year’s annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, appliance brand Cafe announced it is launching a touchless double wall oven

Instead of yelling for help or contorting your body, you can pop the door open (or shut it) by simply tapping your elbow against the surface. If your hands are too full to do even that, just ask your Alexa for help—though we recommend not playing around with the Wi-Fi-enabled feature unless you’re in the room. The new 30-inch oven will be available to order in April and retail for around $4,450.

While we usually think of a double wall oven as an eyesore, this smart appliance’s sleek glass design is anything but. Plus we could all use the extra space, given we’re cooking more than ever these days. Bonus: The air-fry mode and in-oven camera will turn you into a top chef in no time. Go ahead, get your multitasking on.
