These Dissolvable Body Wash Sheets Save So Much Space in My Tiny Shower

And they’re zero-waste.

In my quaint brownstone apartment, there’s a generous windowsill for lining up my skyline of shampoo and body wash bottles. But one year in and a few plants later, that space is becoming increasingly scarce. And remember what I said about a quaint brownstone? Yeah, there’s not much of a ledge around our tiny bathtub for more products.

I feel guilty about those bottles, anyway. I buy in bulk when I can, but ultimately plastic is almost always part of the equation. So when Instagram tried to lure me with an ad for Plus dissolvable body wash, I was intrigued—but skeptical on how much lather a tissue-size sheet could really create.

Turns out, Plus is a game changer. Each sheet comes enclosed in a sachet that I rip open with dry hands, then toss toward my drain, where it dissolves like magic once water hits it. Next I quickly run the sheet under the shower stream before rubbing it between my hands to make a thick sudsy wash that lasts throughout my entire shower. I’ve even put one on top of my Luv Scrub for a more exfoliating experience.

But they’re not just great for at-home bathing. Now that I’ve been traveling more, slipping a few sheets in my carry-on has made going through TSA checkpoints a total breeze. And for when I’ve made brunch plans after a barre class, I just tuck one in my bag and do a quick showerless wash before I’m on my way.

There are currently two spa-quality scents to choose from (the third version is unscented), but I’m stuck on Summer, a citrusy fragrance that makes me feel happy. It’s either that or the fact that my bathroom sill is getting a break—along with the planet.
