Boring little bathroom? Not this year. Take a look at a few of our favorite spaces.

In 2014, we used this deep, dark-hued bathroom as a reminder that not every spot has to be all-white. You can still create a simple, spa-like environment with color. This charcoal palette will never go out of style.

Photography by Little Green Notebook’s Jenny Komenda created a beautiful bathroom for her home’s redesign. The green walls combined with the dark black tub create contrast and a calming oasis.

The light fixture, claw-foot tub, and creamy green on the walls are the right combo in this space.

TIP: Throw in a nice rug that reflects your style. It’s amazing how a simple textile can create so much warmth in a room.

You’ve exhausted your color choices throughout the rest of the house, but don’t want to leave the bathroom as an afterthought. A black and white color scheme is simple, but thought-out just enough.

You’re torn. You want to bring your personal aesthetic into a small space like the bathroom without overdoing it. Plain isn’t your thing, but neither is a super busy space. Pick a simple, but chic tile to bring just the right touch to the bathroom. Blues in the bathroom are always a win.

We had to include a bathroom with wallpaper. Rarely seen. Always on our mind. If you’re thinking about the guest bathroom, you’ll want to pull out all the stops. Start with the lights. An impressive light fixture can instantly update the space.

Yep, we’ve fallen in love with the all-white bathroom. For good reason. A simple way to update your bathroom is by adding new handles and knobs to your cabinets. Match it to your mirror frame and – you have perfection.
