mohawk general store

Los Angeles’s Mohawk General Store, founded in 2008 by husband and wife Kevin and Bo Carney, was originally on Mohawk Street (hence the name), but has relocated to the heart of Sunset Junction. The boutique’s aesthetic is less like a shop and more like a friend’s apartment with blown-glass and powder-coated steel pendant lamps that hang above glass-and-steel tables along with records and design books that line the shop’s wooden wall shelves. Shop amongst the boutique’s curated collections of apparel from SMOCK, Dries Van Noten, Mansur Gavriel, Engineered Garments, Acne, Nonative, Kathleen Whitaker, as well as wallets by Comme de Garcons and shoes by Rachel Comey.
