Remember that “can’t-miss” L.A. indie market we were swooning over last month? Well, it happened, and it was everything.

From handmade bags to fresh florals, there was something for everyone (and we wanted one of each). But just incase you did miss it, not to worry, because the Echo Park Craft Fair will be returning to Mack Sennett Studios this December. Here are a few reasons why you should mark it on your calendar…

(for updates, and serious inspo, follow @echoparkcraftfair!)

Because it all started in a backyard, by two super inspiring women.

Meet Beatrice Valenzuela and

Rachel Craven

, designers and EPCF co-founders. These ladies wear many hats and are responsible for bringing together all of the wonderfully talented artists and makers to produce the event.

Rachel Craven is a textile artist and interior designer, while Beatrice Valenzuela is a fashion and jewelry designer. Shown here are some beautiful pieces from Beatrice’s Alcatraz collection.

Because there are some seriously stylish people…

Fashion model Kirsty Hume stopped by for some afternoon shopping with her daughter, Violet.

…and some seriously talented designers.

Stylist and designer Agnes Baddoo is inspired by simple, timeless forms with function and her gorgeous bags and carryalls embody just that.

Because everyone deserves something one-of-a-kind (and by everyone, we mean you).

Fine jewelry designer Kathleen Whitaker was on-hand with her unique and timeless pieces.

Because we will always say ‘yes’ to fresh florals.

Fair-goers scored beautiful hand-wrapped bouquets from east L.A. floral and styling studio Moon Canyon.

Because you can never have too many candles…and custom-blended candles, at that.

Wendy Polish, candle maker and co-founder of LE FEU DE L’EAU, chats with a shopper over their soy-based collection.

Because there’s something for everyone (on your holiday gift list).

Heather Taylor, EPCF vendor and the designer behind Heather Taylor Home, steals some quality time with her family while working the fair.

Because it’s the perfect way to spend your weekend!

Until next time…
