Hi there! I’m @britt_albert, a photographer based in Brooklyn. I love wandering and photographing the brownstone-lined blocks in my neighborhood, Carroll Gardens, and am excited to share some local gems here with you! #locallyinspired

One of my favorite things about living in Brooklyn is the beautiful architecture. There are so many historic and colorful buildings like this one in Brooklyn Heights. Prints of this shot and other Brooklyn facades are available in my print shop!

I love @clarevivier’s new Cobble Hill store that opened this month. Her handbags and accessories combine Parisian chic with Californian cool and have a perfectly styled shop to match.

For the most unique home goods and gifts, my first stop is @theprimaryessentials on Atlantic Ave. Their pared-down space is impeccably curated and filled with handmade ceramics, glassware and linens from independent artisans and artists.

Defined by a color palette of white, black, grey, and natural, @homestoriesnycis another great address for home goods. From textured light fixtures to linen bedding and rustic wood furniture, an elegance and simplicity runs throughout the sublimely designed store.

For some of the best brunch in the area, head to @frenchlouienyc. The warm lemon Madeleines are amazing! They also have a cute garden in the back that’s open in warmer months.

@premayogabrooklynis a great place to find your Zen. Their airy studio with huge windows facing Carroll Park is perfect for an early morning or evening candlelight yoga class.

Black Mountain Wine House @blkmtnbklooks and feels like a log cabin. Curl up in front of the fireplace or in one of the window banquettes with a glass of wine and a cheese plate for a cozy night!

There are many great parks in Brooklyn, but my favorite is @brooklynbridgepark. Nothing beats a sunset view over the river and Manhattan skyline!
