Have you ever bought something for your home and later thought to yourself, how did I ever live without this? We aim for every single product in our annual Domino Good Design Awards to elicit that feeling. Domino editors pore over hundreds of contenders, from flexible furniture to scene-stealing lighting and smart appliances, to find the cream of the crop. Now we’re doing it all again. Here’s everything you need to know to submit your newest launches for the chance to be featured in the 2026 Domino Good Design Awards.
About the Domino Good Design Awards
The Domino Good Design Awards debuted in 2022 with 26 game-changing products that deserve a spot in our homes. Every summer since then, our eagle-eyed team of editors has come together to discuss, deliberate, and sometimes hotly debate our favorite new arrivals across a variety of categories, from furniture to finishes.
As the program has grown—there will be 58 winners this year!—so has the competitiveness of our applicant pool. What are we looking for? As always, form and functionality in equal parts, high-quality craftsmanship, and innovativeness in the category—essentially, a product that makes life easier (or at least more fun!) and looks good while doing it.

2026 Domino Good Design Award Submission Guidelines

Multi-Winner Categories (Furniture and Decor: 10 Winners; All Other Categories: 5 Winners Each)
- Furniture: Sofas, chairs, tables, credenzas, beds, dressers, and so on.
- Outdoor: Alfresco essentials like patio sets, pool gear, and umbrellas.
- Kitchen & Dining: All the necessities that go into sitting down for a meal—plates and glassware, pots and pans, napkins and dish towels.
- Lighting: Pendants, sconces, table lamps, and everything in between.
- Appliances: From countertop cuties (a blender) to bigger investments (a washing machine).
- Finishes & Materials: The backdrops to our lives—think: wallpaper, paint, and paneling, as well as cabinetry, countertops, and tile.
- Bed & Bath: Can’t-live-without bedding, towels, shower curtains, soaps, and the like.
- Organization: Boxes, bins, baskets, and other clutter-busting tools.
- Decor: All the fixings, from curtains and rugs to hardware and light switches. Vases, picture frames, and other vignette mainstays fit here, too.
Single-Winner Categories (1 Winner Each)
- Groundbreaker of the Year: A new launch that has disrupted the way we live at home through innovation in style, materials, function, production, or sustainability.
- Collab of the Year: A boundary-pushing creative collaboration between two parties, such as a brand and a designer. In other words, a match made in design heaven.
How to Enter
Submissions for the 2026 Domino Good Design Awards are officially open. To get your product in front of our editors, please complete this form by 11:59 p.m. (ET), June 30, 2026. There is a $250 submission fee per Multi-Winner Category entry and a $350 submission fee per Single-Winner Category entry, payable within the submission form. There are no refunds, so please read the below criteria carefully before submitting. Submit as many products as you like.
The Submission Criteria: Multi-Winner Categories
- The product must have been launched between September 2025 and September 2026.
- We’re looking for entirely new product/design launches only. A new colorway will not be considered.
- All products must be available to purchase in September 2026. Limited-edition products will not be considered.
- We may reach out for samples to test or shoot. Please make sure samples are available by the submission deadline (June 30, 2026).
The Submission Criteria: Single-Winner Categories
- For the Groundbreaker of the Year award, we will only consider single products (not entire collections).
- For the Collab of the Year award, we will consider either a product or an entire collection.
- The product or collection must have launched between September 2025 and September 2026. We’re looking for entirely new designs only. A new colorway will not be considered.
- All products must be available to purchase in September 2026. Limited-edition products will not be considered.
- We may reach out for samples to test or shoot. Please make sure samples are available by the submission deadline (June 30, 2026).

Announcement of Winners
The 2026 Domino Good Design Awards winners will be officially announced in September. Winners will be notified prior to the announcement. Due to the volume of entries, we ask that you do not contact us to check on your status.
Judging Details
Domino’s editors will carefully consider every product entered, although we may also consider products that have not been formally entered. Aside from the single-winner Groundbreaker of the Year and Collab of the Year awards, there will be multiple winners in each category. Judging is final and confidential. There is no connection between advertising in Domino and winning a Domino Good Design Award. We will contact you for additional information and product samples as needed.
Award Value
As a Domino Good Design Awards multi-category winner, you will receive promotion across all of our channels with a total value of up to $8,000. If you are a Groundbreaker of the Year or Collab of the Year winner, you will receive additional promotion with a total value of up to $43,000.
