Even at first glance, this model home designed by DDG and furnished by The Future Perfect is special. While you might notice the bold accents first, like the stunning blue rug and sheer, pink drapes in the living room or the minimalist shelves in the dining room, it’s really all in the details. A few of the details being, of course, the 7.5”-wide Austrian white oak flooring and architectural board-form concrete ceilings, both of which are DDG signature elements.

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. It’s important to note that the newly built 12 Warren, located in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood, was not only designed by DDG, but was developed, constructed, and will be managed by the company. Which means they had their own teams of architects and designers working from start to finish on the project, ensuring every design element is to their liking. Everything from the floor plans to the kitchen island countertop (which is honed black Saint Laurent marble, in case you were wondering) was chosen carefully.

DDG was looking to create a sophisticated space with an avant-garde aesthetic and filled with decor inspired by the building itself, so it makes sense they looked to The Future Perfect for help with furnishing. Through their ongoing partnership with the Manhattan-based design company, the interior of this model home was able to feature exclusive pieces from Neri & Hu, a Shanghai-based architecture and design studio. The collection is so unique that the model home actually served as the site of their collection debut at the 2016 International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City.

Now, if you think the inside is impressive, we’re nervous to reveal the exterior. Made of hand-laid bluestone, it might just be the most stunning feature of the whole building. The material, which is actually indigenous to New York, can also be found throughout the interior in the bathroom vanity, shower, and floor. (Don’t worry, your favorite Carrara marble was used in the bath!)
