Truth: We love a good deal. But more than anything, we deeply admire seeing a discount from a brand we’re already obsessed with. That’s why this year, for our annual Black Friday and Cyber Monday roundup, Team Domino chose from 31 brands and stores that we’ve already tested and determined are worth our dollars.
Each of the items listed here, from trend-proof tabletop pieces to hibernation-worthy bedding, is something we’d definitely pay full price for, but this holiday season we blissfully don’t have to. Happy shopping!
The sale: 10% off orders more than $225; 15% off orders more than $450, November 23–30. What we’re buying: The Cookware Set, a four-piece collection that’s been a best-seller since the company launched a year ago. We’re not the only fans: Mindy Kaling, Chloe Morello, and Tiffany Thompson of Plant Mami have filled their kitchens with the chemical-free, nonstick pots and pans.
The sale: The best-selling Always Pan is $95, November 16–30. What we’re buying: The Always Pan. It’s rare that a piece of cookware commands the millennial zeitgeist quite like this stovetop staple. But when a single kitchen tool can braise, steam, fry, boil, and comes in a variety of Instagrammable pastel hues, it’s no wonder that it’s been flying off the shelves. We’ve also never seen it discounted this much.
The sale: 20% off all orders more than $100, November 27–30. What we’re buying: The most stylish people we know already own the oven-friendly Dutchess pot, so this year we’re going for the brand’s recently launched bakeware line, which includes cobalt cake pans and casserole dishes with a pretty scallop trim design.
The sale: Up to 25% off sitewide, with the option to donate part of the discount to food-focused charities Heart of Dinner or Drive Change, November 23–December 1. What we’re buying: Knives. Crafted from Japanese steel, these choppers make holiday dinner prep a breeze. Accessorize with the company’s recycled-plastic cutting boards, now available in classic green and a light neutral—and also on sale.
Tabletop Finishing Touches
The sale: 30% off brandwide, November 24–30. What we’re buying: Tinted glassware, because even a mocktail is more fun in a rainbow-hued highball. And we like to say that a long-stem, smoky wineglass goes perfectly with peppermint bark and pumpkin pie.
MoMA Design Store
The sale: $20 off when you spend more than $100; $40 off when you spend $200, November 27 and 28. 20% off and free shipping, November 29 and 30. What we’re buying: Statement vases. From a curvaceous recycled glass take on Alvar Aalto’s iconic design to a sculptural reversible moment by Tara Ashe, your beautiful blooms will have some serious competition.
The sale: 20% off sitewide, November 25–December 1. What we’re buying: Countertop upgrades. Cooking seems like less of a chore when you’ve got a circular cutting board (that doubles as a bold cheese platter) and a mushroom-style pepper grinder. Trust us, no one will judge you if these pieces buy themselves permanent real estate on your countertop.
The sale: 15% off all kitchen items, November 25–30. What we’re buying: Quotidian upgrades. Chances are we’ll be dining in a whole lot more this winter, so why not make a meal at home fun? Friendly-face hand-blown glasses will keep you company even during a solo meal, and handmade candy-colored straws can transform your morning green juice into a Willy Wonka–esque concoction.
The sale: 30% off all small tablecloths, aprons, and blankets; a free gingham tote bag with orders over $300 (Monday only); free face mask with every order, November 27–30. What we’re buying: Tablecloths. Taylor, the queen of California cool, brings her sunny vibes to even winter tablescapes thanks to her handwoven linens from Chiapas, Mexico. And who says cherry gingham can’t be a part of a holiday spread?
The sale: 20% off sitewide, November 27–30. What we’re buying: Linen bedding. It’s okay if you just want to stay under the covers these days, especially when you’re wrapped up in a heavyweight 100 percent linen throw woven in Portugal.
The sale: 20% off sitewide, November 27–30. What we’re buying: Duvet cover sets. Cult-favorite bedding brand Parachute offers bundles in a wide variety of materials—if you want soft and fluffy, the cloud set is woven from long-staple Turkish cotton. Or if you’re hoping for something a bit heavier, the company is also known for its buttery linens and crisp cottons.
Hawkins New York
The sale: 20% off sitewide, November 23–December 30. What we’re buying: Bold bedding. No more white beds! Hawkins’s vegetable-dyed velvet pillows add a splash of color, and its mohair throws come in seven chic shades. Even if you’re not down to sleep in a hue-filled space, each of these picks would look great with, well, crisp white bedding.
The sale: 20% off sitewide; 25% off orders more than $150; 30% off orders more than $250 with the code HOLIDAY, beginning November 23. What we’re buying: A Netflix-and-chill–worthy throw. Fact: You can never have enough blankets. Thankfully each of these options, from a cozy knit made for nights by the fireplace to a fringed one that would look great at the end of a bed, is a great companion to The Queen’s Gambit.
Furniture & Decor
The sale: 15% off full-priced home and beauty goods with the promo code HOLIDAY, November 22–December 1. What we’re buying: Coffee table accessories. Adorn your living room with items that spark joy: a puzzle that doubles as art (if you can manage to put together all 500 pieces), a vintage-inspired lighter, a matte concrete catchall, and Georg Jensen’s fluid metallic candleholders.
The sale: 15% off sitewide, November 25–December 1. What we’re buying: WFH essentials. Set yourself up for long-term success with a desk that lets you customize your shelving. Add in a classic Eames shell chair, a Pixar-style flexible table lamp, and a rubber-footed caddy that can hold all the bits and bobs you’ll need.
The sale: 20% off orders more than $150 with code BFCM20, November 27–30. What we’re buying: Streamlined space savers. This year, as we spend more time than ever at home, organization is the key to remaining sane. Each of these minimalist picks from this newish brand will make your home feel like it’s working with (instead of against) you.
The sale: 20% off all items (minus the Puffy Chair and any limited-edition products and samples) with Domino’s exclusive code 20CATCH (only 100 codes available, so act fast!), November 27–30. What we’re buying: Living room game changers. We’re partial to one of the brand’s most beloved products–Max Lamb’s Last Stool, which he designed from a single sheet of metal.
The sale: 30% off sitewide with code HOLIDAY30, November 25–December 1. What we’re buying: Playful prints. Whether you opt for a floral-forward recipe box (which you can also use for photos) or a braided rainbow rug (part of Rifle’s collaboration with Loloi), your WFH space is about to get a whole like brighter.
The sale: Various discounts on best-selling products. What we’re buying: The design-forward electronics. While any of these techy gifts would make us happy, it’s the 25% off on TVs 75 inches or larger that’s topping our wish list this year.
The sale: 15% off all products with code SMALLBIZ15, November 28–30. What we’re buying: Tie-the-room-together rugs. Minna, one of our favorite small businesses, only works with family-run workshops and independently run co-ops. It’s the kind of details that makes stepping onto one of its artisan-made rugs even sweeter.
The sale: 15% off purchases of $100 or more, 20% off purchases of $1,999 or more, and 25% off of $3,999 or more, November 25-30. What we’re buying: The Kara Mann collection. The Chicago and New York based interior designer worked with CB2 to create what she calls “an ode to her teenage bedroom” and what we like to call elevated minimalism perfection.
The Sale: 25% off sitewide, November 25-30. What we’re buying: The cosmetic pouch sets. While we may not be traveling as much this year, these bags, perfect for makeup, desk supplies, chargers, and more, come in handy even for a trip to the grocery store. The best part? They’re sustainably made.
The sale: 20% off standard-size candles, November 20–30. What we’re buying: Set-the-mood scents. The Internet’s favorite candle company rarely has sales, so this is one of the few times you can get its sexy smells—it even collaborated with Kacey Musgraves on one called Slow Burn—at a discount.
The sale: 20% off sitewide, November 25–30. What we’re buying: All the skin care. This clean beauty brand carries some of our absolute favorite products, like the 4-in-1 face tonic, which cleans, exfoliates, soothes, and hydrates. No shame if you scoop them up in multiples while they’re on sale.
& Other Stories
The sale: 25% off everything, November 25–27 (and on the 24th with early access code FRIDAY25); 25% off everything again, November 30. What we’re buying: The vegan body care. The line uses natural ingredients (pistachio, coconut, and vanilla) to moisturize, exfoliate, and cleanse skin.
The sale: Free shipping and $10 off a first purchase of $25 or more with the code “OFFER” from November 20-30. What we’re buying: The self-care stocking stuffers. We can’t travel this year, but thanks to these luxurious products, you can certainly look like you did. From self-tanner to an anti-aging overnight treatment, everything you need to feel like you’re on a refreshing, tropical getaway is just a click away.
The sale: 25% off sitewide, November 26–30. What we’re buying: The curated sets. The millennial-favorite brand is releasing special sets for Black Friday shoppers with up to 35% reduced pricing, including the Smells Like You Set, which includes its award-winning eau de parfum and hand cream.
The sale: 15% off sitewide, November 27–30. What we’re buying: Delicate baubles. Watch out for the freshwater pearl hoops that hug your earlobe, solid gold charms (the perfect gift for Mom!), an opal-accented necklace that will shimmer from miles away, and a dainty ring for that special someone.
The sale: 20% sitewide, November 30. What we’re buying: The arm candy. Plaid, color-blocked, and floral enamel stretch bracelets will brighten up any outfit and become regular players in your jewelry repertoire.
