You’ve filled up coloring books, baked another batch of cookies, and embraced the reliable, attention-satisfying powers of the iPad. Keeping your kids entertained can admittedly take a toll when you’re cycling through the same routines, which is why it’s good to mix things up. And Erin Jang, art director and graphic designer extraordinaire, is here to help.

Jang’s new children’s book, You, Me, We!, is a vibrant fill-in-the-blanks adventure perfect for parents to partake in alongside their kids (or for siblings to work on together). Think of it as a prettier version of Mad Libs that doubles as a getting-to-know-you exercise.

With prompts that tap into feelings and opinions, the book aims to entertain and bring the whole family a little bit closer. “I made it not just to understand my children better, but so they can better understand me—there’s room to teach them how to care for us, too,” says Jang. “We’ve redone some of the pages now and again, and we always learn something new about one another.”

Just a page a day can make for a sweet bonding moment that doubles as a fun activity. Try the ones, below, at home and pick up Jang’s book to keep it going.
