Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, remote work has quickly become the new normal—some companies have even decided to let their employees work from home permanently. Which means people around the country are realizing that their makeshift offices are in dire need of a change-up. One solution? Airbnb.
The online vacation rental marketplace reports that guest reviews mentioning “remote work” or “work remotely” since the start of the pandemic have tripled from the same period last year. Hotels are jumping on the trend, too: Hyatt recently launched Work From Hyatt, where guests can book special packages designed for remote work.
