Following a stint in the fashion industry, she would go on to fully transition into the world of content creation, launching her blog With Love From Kat. Tanita now spends her days traveling the world and sharing her stunning finds with readers along the way. We caught up with Tanita to get the lowdown on her recent move to the West Coast. What inspired the cross-country move?
After six wonderful years in New York, I was ready for a slower pace of life and better weather. I fell in love with Venice Beach after spending the summer there and found my dream home a few months later!
What’s the biggest difference between living on the East Coast vs the West?
The weather! And the overall vibe – I just feel a lot more at ease here.
What’s one thing you’re going to have to get used to in LA?
Traffic! Good thing I love my car 😉
How was your interior aesthetic be effected by the move?
I’m embracing a more beachy, relaxed, whitewashed, bohemian aesthetic. Comfort is key.
What are you looking forward to the most in your new place?
Having a backyard where I can have BBQs and friends over for rose in the summer.
