Greetings from the City by The Bay! I am Ana Kamin aka  @fluxi  and I’m showing you few of my favorite places in San Francisco.

I’m a writer and photographer penning travel stories and guides for my own blog, Fluxi On Tour , and other online publications. When I’m not writing, I’m out there exploring new places, taking too many pictures, or just enjoying a good hike. Let’s go and discover this colorful city! Enjoy! @fluxi

Yes, the streets are steep, the wind is strong, but I promise the views are worth every sweat bead. The history says the city is built on 49 hills which are now covered with beautiful homes in all colors and hues.  A walk through the streets of SF is always a good idea and great inspiration for you next color palette.. Tip: For this view you have to climb Greenwich Street.  @fluxi

After we have conquered the hills, we deserve a big piece of (honey) cake and there is no better place to fuel on sweet, buttery carb dreams than 20th Century Cafe. I love this retro café for its sweet and savory bites inspired by the cuisine of old Eastern Europe.  @fluxi

In San Francisco, it’s important to stop for a second and to look up. Above you might be just as pretty as in front of you. In the 19th century, facade ornaments were the big design thing. You got your catalog and you got to pick & choose style, shape and color to pretty up your home.  @fluxi

Located on Divisadero Street, with its simple yet playful decor, @raredevice is my shopstop for jewelry, ceramics, pretty papers and unique gifts. Plus, they are hosting regular exhibitions and vernissages to meet the artists.  @fluxi

As they have perfected their coffee, most of the coffee shops have perfected their interior design, too. @saintfrankcoffee is by far one of my favorites, with their sleek, glossy white bar and simple wood panelling, the space is a calm escape from the bustle of the city.  @fluxi

When I want to treat myself to a bouquet of lush petals, @ampersand_sf is my happy flower place. The guys behind this cute spot did an amazing job (with lots of white paint) turning an old garage into San Francisco’s probably most instagramed flower shop.  @fluxi

For extended after-brunch walks and some outdoor recreation, you will find me at Crissy Field. Lots of green and spectacular views included. That’s it, friends! Thank you all for following along, thank you domino for having me and I hope you enjoyed our San Francisco tour.  Cheers!  @fluxi
