As enticing as tiny homes are—just think of all the money you’ll save and how KonMari-ing your belongings will lift a metaphorical weight off of your shoulders—there’s a lot of work that goes into buying one. You’ll have to figure out plumbing and obtain all kinds of permits if you’re setting up a more permanent place. Thankfully, there’s another kind of tiny house that’s far easier to set up—and now it’s starting to look way more appealing, all thanks to a new innovation recently introduced by Erwin Hymer Group.

As Curbed reports, the company just debuted a model of a truly next-level RV, the VisionVenture. It’s a camper built on a Mercedes-Benz chassis, featuring a kitchen, sitting area, shower, bathroom, barbecue station, workspace, and lofted bedroom—alongside plenty of built-in storage space. And here’s the biggest surprise: It looks totally sleek, modern, and—dare we say—roomy. We’re suckers for warm wood and tones of gray, and it’s amazing to see how they can make the smallest quarters feel spacious.

Though the van isn’t available for purchase (yet), it’s an indication of what life on the road could look like by 2025. While RV living comes with its own challenges (the vehicles are typically smaller than even the most mini house, for one), this kind of development makes use of every possible square inch of space—so downsizing feels less intimidating. Your home on the road will still feel like a home. Suddenly #VanLife sounds pretty good.
