We all have that one designer, or two, we’re constantly looking to for inspiration. Their amazing projects fill our Instagram and Pinterest feeds with a seemingly never-ending string of beautifully-styled interiors. And while we’ve long connected with said designers and decorators, we’re all for broadening our interior design horizons. Introducing, in no particular order, the 16 up-and-coming interior designers we’ve got our eyes on this year.

Tali Roth

Coming from a background in fashion (Roth had a successful career running a self-titled fashion label before becoming an interior designer), it’s safe to say that this Australia native knows her way around textiles and textures. With a true talent for layering and a knack for contemporary spaces, Roth’s dynamic approach can be spotted in the details.

You can learn more about Roth’s work on her personal site, or by hitting follow on Instagram.

Ishka Designs Inc.

Known for their clean and minimal aesthetic, Anishka Clarke and Niya Bascom—the Brooklyn-based duo behind Ishka Designs—are quietly bringing beautifully simplistic interiors to the forefront of the decor scene. You’ll want to remember their names.

Keep up with their latest travels and creations here.

Sasha Burchuk of New Age Design Studio

With a mission to make the world a more exotic place, Sasha Burchuk is introducing a more daring and experimental perspective to both interior design and furniture fabrication. Right now, Burchuk is primarily focused on one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, many of which are largely informed by her appreciation for materials and shapes of the 1970s and 1980s (i.e. if you love terrazzo, you’ll love her work).

Danielle Arps

To the NYC tech startup scene, Arps is the interior designer to know. Seriously, co-working spaces have never looked so chic. Who knows, your office might be next!

Caitlin Murray of Black Lacquer Design

Murray’s design philosophy is appropriately summed up by her business name. A true believer that every home is deserving of a bit of black and a little lacquer, Murray’s color-charged spaces are anything but boring.

Sally Breer and Jake Rodehuth-Harrison of ETC. etera

If we had to sum up this LA-based design duo’s style in one word, it’d be soul. Since joining forces in 2016 to kickstart the firm ETC. etera, Sally Breer and Jake Rodehuth-Harrison have been extending their curated eye and creative spark to the number of homes, hotels, and restaurants that have graced their path, and it’s paying off big time.

Raili Clasen of RailiCA Design

Surfer-chic is fast replacing our Cali-cool obsession, and we have Raili Clasen to thank for that. Following a fashion career working for companies like Quiksilver and Paul Frank, Clasen took her knowledge of the casual-coastal lifestyle to the realm of interiors—swapping swimwear and beach gear for waterfront bungalows.

Tavia Forbes and Monet Masters of Forbes + Masters

Another pair worthy of your radar? With a rich portfolio ranging from retro to glam, this young, Atlanta-based team brings their fresh, eclectic aesthetic to every project. Plus, we love that Forbes and Masters aren’t afraid to go full Jackson Pollock on a room (the duo will often hand-paint walls and window treatments to add a custom touch!)

Natasha Baradaran of Natasha Baradaran Interior Design

Natasha Baradaran’s affinity for harmonizing color with patterns stems from her start in designing jewelry. Today, the Beverly Hills-based designer can also add interior architecture, and furniture design to her ever-growing repertoire of inspired projects. Baradaran’s interior works take on the form of the more elegantly ornate, while remaining refreshingly timeless and dynamic.

Natalie Myers knows a thing or two about design. As the founder of Veneer Designs, the interior designer has over a decade of experience in design and construction management, two very valuable skill sets in the industry. After starting her own design firm, Myers has racked up some seriously stunning projects in her portfolio. You can catch a glimpse here and here!

Kelly Nutt of Kelly Nutt Designs

We always find ourselves in constant awe over Kelly Nutt’s design work. As the principle designer and founder of Kelly Nutt Designs, Nutt has racked up a rather impressive portfolio of residence makeovers and renovations. And we must admit, working in California has some serious perks.

Hannah Crowellof Crowell & Co.

Hannah Crowell’s knack for transforming a space is inspiring, to say the least. The Nashville-native interior designer has served as both a director and a curator for a gallery, along with filling various roles in the visual and performing arts. Armed with the motto of creating an “artful and colorful and comfortable” home and finding the “beauty in the imperfect, the messy and the controlled chaos of life” we think we would all get along very well.

Kelly Deck of Kelly Deck Designs

As a proud member of the West Coast design community, Kelly Deck’s coastal-inspired aesthetic is just one of the many things we love about her! Based in Vancouver, the sharp-eyed designer has even forayed into the commercial design field. Consider Deck the go-to source of inspiration for the light and airy enthusiasts.

With an eclectic style that skews from classic modern to boho glam, we’re always looking forward to what Brody will take on next!

Jana Bek of Bek Designs

Jana Bek’s love for color and pattern is one of the many reasons why this up-and-coming designer is a must on our list! The Parsons School of Design graduate has worked her way through a number of prominent brands from Macy’s Merchandising Group to Henri Bendel, before establishing a design firm of her own. Bek’s flair for decorating with the unexpected always keeps us on our toes.

Jenny Wolf of Jenny Wolf Interiors

New York City-based interior designer Jenny Wolf’s approach to design is all about embracing the organic simplicity of life. From handling visual merchandising for Ralph Lauren to earning a degree in Interior Design from Parsons, Wolf’s impressive background is truly evident within her work. One of the things that makes Wolf so special? Her strong cultural ties (which are often found in her designs) to both New Orleans and the South Carolina coast would have to be it.
