What happens when one of our prized, go-to retailers partners up with the symbol of sweet summer living? Something undoubtedly special. Today, Target announced a forthcoming collaboration with Vineyard Vines, the Martha’s Vineyard–based clothing brand and longtime emblem of carefree living. The limited edition line is poised to offer up the quintessential pieces for the ultimate summer gathering.

The collection, which is set to hit stores in early May, comprises nearly 300 items, encompassing home decor, outdoor gear, apparel, and accessories for the whole family—pets included. You may expect to see pieces such as inflatables (because what’s summer without fun in the pool?), games, tableware, towels, and more. As a number of the pieces in the assortment will be a first for Vineyard Vines—the fashion brand never quite forayed into the realm of home decor—we can’t wait to see the outcome of the unexpected pairing of two.

Naturally, the collection will be affordably priced. Every piece in the collection rings in somewhere between $2 and $120, and we can’t think of a better way to greet the impending season ahead. “We worked closely with the vineyard vines team to create a collection of well-designed, affordable items that are meant to bring people together, whether it’s for a shared meal with friends or a family trip to the beach,” said Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, in a statement. “Launching just as summer kicks off, this is the perfect collection to help our guests create lasting memories with family and friends all season long.”

We don’t know much, but if it’s anything like the Hunter x Target collaboration of 2018, it’s bound to be special.

The Vineyard Vines for Target line will be available at Target and on Target.com on May 18, 2019. Stay tuned for updates!
