Sometimes, a text message just won’t do the trick. Call us old fashioned, but we love writing (or receiving!) a good piece of snail mail… and we’re not alone! Check out these rising stars in the stationery design industry who specialize in everything from bespoke watercolors, to custom illustration, to inventive letter press techniques. Because nothing says “love you, mean it” like a handwritten greeting card.
Emily McCarthy is never one to shy away from color… or pattern, for that matter! Her sweet little Savannah shop carries custom paper products, interior accessories, glassware and just about everything you’d need to throw the perfect party!
Sweet Caroline Designs
Louisiana-based designer Caroline Frierson specializes in custom illustration and invitations. From wedding, shower, and children’s birthday invites, to holiday cards, to her trademark desk calendars, Frierson’s bright, playful aesthetic gives us serious heart eyes.
Bespoke watercolor stationery? Yes, please. Happy Menocal creates hand-painted invitations and stationery suites for just a few clients a year. We can’t get enough of her simple script and gorgeous watercolor designs.
Stephanie Clarke of Seattle’s Dahlia Press designs fine letterpress paper goods with a fresh, clean aesthetic. Her cute and clever cards make the perfect snail mail, as she designs paper goods and custom invitations for any occasion.
Bushel & A Peck
For paper products with a punch of pop culture, we love Ali Corbin’s Bushel And A Peck line. The Kansas City native designs hilarious cards featuring some of comedy’s most beloved characters. If they don’t make you giggle, we’re not sure what will.
English Tea Paperie
For all things blush pink and perfectly sweet, follow Richmond, Virginia-based Chloe Minyon. The British designer specializes in bespoke wedding invitations and illustrations that will soon fill our wedding wishlist Pinterest boards.
Parrott Design Studio
Sometimes you just need a card that makes you smile. Look no further than the creations of Maine’s Parrott Design Studio, whose “happy paper goods” are the perfect pick-me-up for a cloudy day.

British designer Clover Robin’s papercut goods are perfectly pretty. Her designs feature lush greenery and botanical-inspired florals that have us dreaming of breezy spring days.
Alexa Pulitzer designs fine stationery, invitations, cups, and cocktail napkins, more often than not featuring fine monograms or critters in crowns. The New Orleans designer also designs exclusive collections for Anthropologie, Bergdorf Goodman, Tory Burch and other retailers.
