For the better part of the ’60s and ’70s, Bermuda was the quintessential getaway. Doubling as the unofficial/official stomping grounds for the original jet-setters, the sunny locale was revered for its pink sand beaches and the glitz and glam brought on by vacationers who sailed to the North Atlantic island each year.

The combination of muted pastel facades, awning stripes, and tropical-esque motifs (think pineapples, palms, and wild orchids) quickly became the telltale markers of Bermuda’s now iconic style. Nearly five decades later, the celebrated aesthetic has made its way back into fashion and the latest home collections that haved launched this spring.

With summer already on our minds—and the ever-growing need to splash brighter colors and cheeky patterns around our homes—we handpicked the pieces that channel the island in all its glory.
