When you want to upgrade your bedding—say, buy some supercozy sheets or an insanely fluffy duvet—Parachute is probably one of the first online retailers you’ll check out. The company has answered many of our bedding woes in the past with its comfortable and high-quality textiles. (The brand knows its threads so well that it even came out with its own assortment of rugs a few years back, along with a mattress and bed frame.) But this January, Parachute is departing from its soft-goods ways: Its latest drop, dubbed the Bluff collection, shines a spotlight on streamlined wood storage.

The fresh line features eight products, spanning nightstands, side tables, and benches, designed in-house and crafted in Indonesia. While some of the pieces, like the Stacked Nightstand with Drawer, were inspired by the bluffs of Big Sur, California, the collection draws on a theme that’s been influencing design a lot lately: mushroom-like silhouettes.

The Oval Nightstand with Drawer ($899) evokes fungi with its tall, solid stand and curvy tabletop. (Psst: In case some of the new storage units are out of your price range, Parachute offers versions of its new tables without the drawers for way less—think: more like $500.) Fill out the rest of your bedroom with these furniture staples or save the tables and benches for your entry or living room. They might be from a bedding brand, but there’s nothing snoozy about them.
