Run, don’t walk: Overstock—the online hub for any and all affordable furnishings—is celebrating its 19th anniversary with the biggest sale in site history. For today only, the e-commerce company is hosting the inaugural Customer Day, a sale which features a slew of savings on everything from rugs to bedding to living room furniture. This year, Overstock is offering deals on more than 1.5 million products (yes, you read that right), making it the largest number of products they’ve ever discounted during a single sale.
For the next (less than) 12 hours, customers can snag up to 70 percent off rugs, bedding sets, and throw pillows, up to 40 percent off lighting, 60 percent off outdoor decor, and more. New products as well as highest-rated pieces are also included in the epic, one-day sale. Not sure where to start? We weeded through the million-plus products so you don’t have to. Here are a few of our favorite elevated finds.
More often than not, long and narrow hallways are left devoid of texture and personality. Introduce a little warmth to a lonesome path by bringing this cozy gray runner onto the scene. Whether your style tends toward modern bohemian or industrial minimalism, this woven jute rug is a no-fuss way to create a layered feel.
A cool new side table that rings in under $50 is a deal we’d never pass up. Featuring a simplified white and wood composition with dip-dyed legs, this streamlined piece embodies everything we love about Scandinavian-cool design.
Want to give your dining room a facelift that only looks expensive? Swap out your tired chairs for a fresh, style-forward set with mid-century roots. We’re especially loving this sophisticated pair, which boasts a blush upholstery and natural oaky body.
It’s a popular misconception that “vintage” is just another word for “cheap.” The unfortunate reality is that an original piece of furniture as large as this modern console can run you a small fortune. Luckily, you can get the look of a timeless piece without actually paying for it. At $90 off, this mid-century-inspired console is a total steal.
Picking out window treatments is never an easy feat. That said, you can never go wrong with bamboo blinds. For just $30, you can lend a natural, airy aura to a less-than-cozy bedroom by swathing the windows in this minimal, organic covering.
Sure, summer is officially over, but right now is actually the best time to prep your outdoor space for next year. The patio staple we’re excited to see come back in 2019? Acapulco chairs. Snag your own set for just under $200 before the end of the day.
Between its light oak wood construction and intricately woven surface, this modern, laidback chair redefines casual comfort. Snag just one for a standalone seat or snap up a set of four or six for the breakfast table. Either way, your home will never look chicer.
Your nightstand table is the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night. Therefore, it’s worth investing in a piece you actually feel good about. Available in white, espresso, or gray, this campaign-style nightstand isn’t just a trendy bedside pick for those in need of ample storage, but also perfect for anyone who wants to infuse their bedroom with a metallic touch.
When it comes to our books, we like to show off our favorite of-the-moment reads in a towering display. For the look and feel of a floating shelf (minus the install), opt for a minimalist book tower like this. With enough room for all your literary treasures, this incredibly rad shelving unit is too cool to pass up.
