For a little extra inspiration, the Domino editors’ favorite Instagrammers takeover our feed each weekend. It’s safe to say tips and covetable images are aplenty. Here’s what you need to know about the most recent feature!

If you’re not following along with Brit turned Parisienne blogger and photographer Marissa Cox on Rue Rodier, you’re missing out. In addition to her wanderlust-worth travel stories, she also shares stylish outfit inspiration and stunning interiors on her Instagram that make us want to book a trip to Paris, ASAP. So it’s only fitting we tapped Cox to share a few of her favorite holiday destinations in the City of Lights. If you’re heading to the cobblestone streets of Paris anytime soon, these are the spots worth adding to your itinerary.

Claus

As if the name wasn’t festive enough, Cox swears by the authentic Parisian breakfast assortment from this adorable cafe. Perfectly situated at the heart of the capital, be sure to check this place out for its festive holiday decor, along with the most delicious homemade pastries.

Place Vendôme

When you’re done brunching, head to this pretty square located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris near the Tuileries gardens. The holidays are the perfect time to admire the lights that line the Rue de la Paix, along with the spectacular sparkling trees that are truly a sight to see.

Le Bon Marché

This iconic department store is worth the trip no matter the season, but it’s even more magical over the holidays. If you’re a window shopper, plan on spending a few hours browsing their holiday section, floors of designer clothing, housewares, and so much more. As Paris’s first-ever department store (it opened in 1852!), it doubles as a historical stop.

Angelina

You can’t visit Paris and not visit Angelina, especially over the holidays. Its elegant ambiance, decadent pastries, and famous hot chocolate make it a must-stop spot. There’s almost always a crowd here, but it’s well worth the wait. If you’re not in the mood to wait for a table, order your chocolate chaud “emporter” (to-go!) and take a stroll through the Tuileries or nearby Palais Royal gardens.

Merci

This shop holds a special place in the hearts of Parisians and visitors alike. Between the picturesque red Fiat outside, floors of incredible and unique home goods, and two perfectly cozy cafes, there’s something here for everyone. Plan on picking up some treats for yourself, and your friends and family back at home!

(Pssst, we love this spot so much we featured it in our Winter Issue, on newsstands now!)

The Hoxton Hotel

If you’re looking for a cozy spot to hangout and relax a little on your holiday tour, Cox recommends stopping by @thehoxtonhotel, partly for its beautifully designed interior that’s totally Instagrammable. It’s both chic and centrally located, and there’s also a quality restaurant inside.
