Walmart is making serious moves in the home design world. Between designer collaborations and a recently launched high-end (in appearance only, luckily) bedding brand, the national retailer is quickly becoming a hub for literally ever decor or furniture piece you might need in your home.

Somewhat surprisingly, this inventory now includes some pretty upscale-looking finds whose low price tag thankfully doesn’t reflect the quality. And while sifting through the impressive-to-the-point-of-overwhelming amount of products, we started to notice that our favorites all adhere to a fairly sleek, simple aesthetic. Minimalists, here’s why you shouldn’t discount Walmart.

Novogratz Hudson Lounge Chair, $162

This sky blue chair leans more mid-century, but with its clean lines and modern feel it’s sure to be a hit with die-hard minimalists, too. Actually probably just with die-hard minimalists who aren’t afraid of a little color—the aqua hue makes the perfect pop of brightness for any living room.

Southern Enterprises Kuja Table Lamp, $70.62

An unassuming yet chic addition to your desk or nightstand, this bamboo table lamp emits a soft warm glow you’ll appreciate as an alternative to harsh

overhead lighting

.

Convenience Concepts Oslo Coffee Table, $65.25-$106.25

The piano-finished top almost looks like marble (okay, from a distance) but at a fraction of the price. It’s available in three colors, but we like the stark white option for a more traditional minimalist feel.

Mainstays Dynasty Decorative Throw Pillows, $10.84

A linen lookalike ideal for sprucing up your sofa or chair with a hint of color for summer, this throw pillow’s simple button detailing is pared back perfection. The deep indigo is a classic hue you won’t tire of, but any of the vibrant shades (we’re also partial to the clay red) will be a hit.

Better Homes & Gardens Flynn Futon, $279

A sofa under $300 that actually looks stylish? Yes, please. This one comes with the added bonus of being a futon, making it a great piece for any small space dwellers in need of multifunctional furniture.

Convenience Concepts Oslo Storage Unit, $125.15

As one reviewer put it, “I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this product because I was getting [it] at such a deal! Assembling it was a breeze and I was so shocked when I saw how sturdy and durable it looked. I get compliments on it from my friends and it is such a beautiful piece.”

Take it from someone who’s tried it and add this functional and fashionable console to your entryway or living room for extra storage.

Umbra Sometime Desk Clock, $25

Go analog and add a cool desktop accessory in the process. This contemporary yet sophisticated piece is almost sculptural in its design, making for quite the trendy workspace companion.

Novogratz Roundabout Demilune Table, $79.98

Another small space-ready piece, this Novogratz-designed side table is ideal for narrow entryways. A vase full of your favorite blooms and a decorative tray to hold essentials like mail or keys is all that’s needed to add some interest to even a hallway.
