Did you know that, apart from being a world-renowned rock star, Lenny Kravitz is also a design aficionado? If the answer is no, you clearly missed his first decor line with CB2 (and its best-selling chair design) back in 2015. But not to worry: The musician just dropped a second collection of furniture and accessories today.

Rich woods and high-shine chrome mixed with bold prints and paper cord–wrapped details are at the collaboration’s core. “We were inspired by images of woven and textural pieces, funk/jazz music greats like Fela Kuti, African and Parisian architecture, geometry references of Sonia Delaunay and Picasso, and reference images from the ’20s to the ’70s,” explains Kravitz, who founded his creative studio, Kravitz Design, in 2003.

The collection features 70 products, ranging from $8 to $2,400, all shot at Kravitz’s home in the Bahamas, giving us a look at how he’d really live with the pieces.

“One of my personal favorites is the Paseo carved-wood credenza, which drew inspiration from a Brutalist-style console that I have in my own home,” he reveals. The new hand-carved oak, carbon, and walnut storage stands out in warm contrast to the stark stone walls and floor of Kravitz’s house. “This piece is not symmetrical or perfect,” he adds, “yet finds its beauty in the imperfections.”
