Lauren Conrad Is Launching a New Podcast to Help You Organize Your Life
Will she be the next Marie Kondo?

Don’t let her effortless beach waves and perfectly bronzed glow fool you: Lauren Conrad does not have it all figured out. To prove that she’s on a level playing field, the former reality TV star–turned–best-selling author is launching an advice-driven podcast with Cadence13 called Lauren Conrad: Asking for a Friend, where she’ll host candid conversations with lifestyle experts who specialize in everything from beauty and relationships to business and entertaining. She’ll even answer your most pressing decorating questions if you want her to.
“I’m talking to people who live and breathe these things and I’m getting the most important information out of them,” Conrad recently told People in an interview. Listeners will be able to determine the topics the SoCal native explores by voicing their most pressing questions online.
“Before each interview, I will go on social media to find out what people really want to know,” she continues. “That’s why I called it Asking for a Friend!”
While the end goal of the weekly podcast is to help listeners strike the perfect balance between their personal and professional lives, Conrad will also explore what it means to simplify and organize your home. And we can’t wait to hear what she has to say. In fact, we already have a running list of projects we wouldn’t mind having her help with. LC, if you’re listening, hear us out:
How to Style a Bookshelf
If Conrad’s tips for styling a dreamy tablescape are any indication that she knows how to craft a vignette, we can only imagine how she’d tackle a bookshelf. We would especially love to hear how Conrad would apply her beloved California-cool style to a blank slate by incorporating textured ceramics, florals, and her go-to pastel palette.
How to Wallpaper a Powder Room
Having already proven her ability to seamlessly translate her vision from fashion to home decor, we can see Conrad’s delicate eye for pattern working wonders in a teeny powder room or closet. In the spirit of a spring refresh, we’re curious what kind of floral wall covering she’d recommend for a space in need of a seasonal upgrade.
How to Beautify a Laundry Room
We’re assuming laundry days have gotten a whole lot more chaotic at Conrad’s home since she and her husband, William Tell, welcomed their 1-year-old son, Liam. What we really want to know is: How do you keep the mess under control? We have a hunch that there are whimsical woven baskets and chic ceramic soap trays involved, but we’ll wait to hear it from the spring-cleaning master herself.
Lauren Conrad: Asking for a Friend launches on May 8 and will be available on Apple Podcasts. Forget Marie Kondo—we’re all ears for this one.
