#AStarIsBorn

A post shared by Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) on

Ever wonder where A Star Is Born was really born? While it might seem like an unlikely place to hold a life-changing meeting, it turns out that Bradley Cooper first offered Gaga the role of Ally in her very own home. Spanning 10,000 square feet and worth of a jaw-dropping $22 million, Gaga’s extravagant beachside estate—which she has humbly referred to as her “Gypsy palace” in the past—is a far cry from the cozy mid-century abode Cooper and Gaga called home in A Star Is Born.

Situated on six lush acres, the newly minted Academy Award winner first purchased the luxurious, five-bedroom property back in 2014, according to Realtor.com. Fans will undoubtedly recognize the rustic-chic interior from the star’s hit Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two.

Boasting uninterrupted views of both the Pacific Ocean and nearby mountainside, Gaga’s coastal getaway is a cinematic dream. Forget A Star Is Born: Her beachfront villa has us craving Under the Tuscan Sun. Sneak a peek inside below.

Exposed wood beams, wide-plank floors, and french doors lend a relaxed, countryside vibe to the living room, dining room, and kitchen downstairs. Though, as quaint and charming as these provincial-inspired details might be, the glamorous estate doesn’t skimp on A-list amenities.

Known for her notoriously extensive—not to mention expensive—wardrobe, it’s no surprise that Gaga transformed two of the home’s bedrooms into dressing and storage spaces.

As she winds down at the end of a long day in her equally roomy master suite (which, of course, comes with a private balcony), the pop star can at least sleep easy knowing that her iconic meat dress is safe and sound.

While there’s plenty to explore inside—including a wine cellar, home theatre, and retro bowling alley—outside, there’s also a saltwater infinity pool, horse stables, and riding trails. It’s safe to say we know where she’ll be relaxing once award season is officially over.
