When Joanna Gaines first shared her coveted farmhouse style with the masses via Hearth & Hand for Target, we thought we had died and gone to decor heaven. Now, there’s word that the HGTV star is planning something epic with Anthropologie, and we are feeling all the feels.
In a recent Instagram Story captured by House Beautiful, Gaines revealed a picture of an industrial studio with the caption, “Working on a fun project with Anthropologie today.” Clearly, the designer isn’t opposed to sharing the news that something special is in the works. But what could that something special be?
A little Instagram digging revealed that Gaines is actually a bigger fan of Anthropologie than you might think. This past August, the star tagged a handful of big-box brands in a shot of Crew’s nursery—crediting Anthropologie for the basket on the dresser. According to Today, Gaines also keeps the company’s cozy Rani Pommed Throw Blanket draped over Crew’s black metal crib from Crate and Barrel.
Given Gaines’s earthy, industrial aesthetic and breezy, laid-back wardrobe, we’re actually surprised a collaboration hasn’t happened sooner. The only remaining mystery is whether or not the HGTV alum will make her Anthro debut in home or apparel. In the same Instagram Story shot, a pair of jeans, an ironing board, and a sewing machine appear to hint that the collab is geared toward fashion. Either way, we’re just excited to have yet another excuse to shop her style—decor or otherwise.
