Hot take: Baskets are the new throw pillows—as in, we can’t stop collecting them. Small, handles, no handles…we’re not particular. (And yes, we fully acknowledge the irony of hoarding an item that’s meant to help you declutter.) With all the hubbub surrounding IKEA’s cleaning-focused Borstad collection, we’re a little surprised we almost missed the new line of sustainable handmade baskets also launching this February. Lucky for us, we spotted it just in time.

The limited-edition Tjillevips collection, which will be available to shop in stores and online on February 1, includes 10 containers made from different types of plant fibers, including rattan, jute, and banana fiber. We didn’t struggle to pick a favorite: The two bamboo options—the most versatile of the bunch—are the gems of the latest catalog.

These adorable-looking baskets feature an often-overlooked detail: a lid. We’ve become so accustomed to open, oversized bins (great for catching blankets) that we forgot how handy it is to be able to hide the stuff we’re stowing away. Not to mention, with these ones, you can get to your stuff in a flash, thanks to the little knob on top. The two different versions (short/wide and tall/oblong) will blend in with just about any style of decor, in any room. We think they’d look especially great in the entryway as a catchall for mail or in the bathroom filled with surplus vanity essentials.
