IKEA is somewhat of a master at creating innovative products that make your life easier. Its smart lighting line brings the latest in home automation to you at an actually affordable price. It gives you the tools you need to DIY a mobile herb garden in under five minutes. The home goods retailer is even manufacturing a new way to put together furniture that will cut assembly time by 80% and eliminate the need for screws.

Now, IKEA is creating the ultimate cooking hack to shorten your meal prep time. And no, we’re not talking about the delicious frozen meatballs (though if you haven’t tried them, you’re seriously missing out).

Introducing the IKEA Recipe Series, a cookbook unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. In lieu of traditional ingredient lists and step-by-step instructions, the cookbook is modeled as a culinary puzzle of sorts, with sketches of each ingredient (outlined precisely to reflect the required measurement) written in food-safe ink on sheets of parchment paper.

Assembly is easy: simply place the ingredients onto their corresponding diagrams, roll up the paper, and pop it into the oven. It’s the ultimate one-pan meal with minimal clean-up and even less effort required.

“When it comes to cooking, most people are hesitant to break from routine,” writes the instructional video (above) demonstrating the recipe series. “They find new foods and recipes to be intimidating. IKEA wanted to show people that getting creative can be deliciously simple.”

The deliciously simple recipes in question are four dishes prepared entirely with IKEA products. The posters include instructions on how to assemble baked salmon, ravioli with meatballs, fruit cobbler, and a shrimp dish.

The recipe sheets were created as a marketing campaign by IKEA Canada in partnership with ad agency Leo Burnett, as part of the brand’s

IKEA Kitchen Event

. While it’s currently unclear if and when the posters will be hitting the marketplace for everyone, we’re hoping they do soon —if only so we can learn how to make one-sheet ravioli with meatballs.
