In an ideal world, our plants would have garden plots and expansive, sunny rooms to stretch out in—but when you live in a tiny apartment, the reality is a bit less greenery friendly. IKEA just released a new collection to bridge that gap. The limited-edition Botanisk line is all handmade by artisans and includes everything you would need to start your urban jungle in the confines of a city home.

Whether you have a balcony, a windowsill, or truly just a small nook, you can find something to suit your needs. There are even a couple textiles embroidered with leaf motifs should your hurdle to plant parenthood be mostly skills-based rather than real estate–related.

We have our eye on the hanging planters, which are a small-space dweller’s best friend (you really only need a couple inches of ceiling surface to make them work). If you have a bit more room, the woven vase is a great way to add a hit of texture—plus, it’s made from sustainable banana fibers. Our favorite product is a seriously genius invention: IKEA is selling a wood mold for crafting miniature paper pots. Upcycle old newspaper or magazine scraps and fashion yourself your very own herb garden
